Christmas and the kitchen sink

Merry Christmas everyone, I know it’s a little late, and I’ll give you a hug if you read that in professor Farnsworth voice!! Christmas has come and gone again. I will miss my favorite holiday and think about getting more decorations on sale. I think April was pleased with her goodies, I know I was!!! Thank you again sweetie!!! We had an awesomely lazy day, cooked and set up a mini buffet on the coffee table and had dinner and watched some movies. I of course made my phone calls and April made hers. I’m glad her dad called her! Since Christmas she has read 6 books and started some too. That’s 6 books in a week, she did get the kindle fire early. I’m glad she likes it!!

So I entered my first giveaway last week, although I did not win I am very pleased to say that April did!!! Yay for free brownies. And Yay for Sarah for doing the giveaway!!! Thank you again!!

That pesky kitchen sink has finally met its match, I hope. After being clogged for a while I decided that I wasn’t going to lose this war. And April’s encouragement, well her yearning need for a kitchen sink, pushed me to it. It took all 25+ feet of the snake to get it. But I ran lots and lots of hot water through and poured a about 3/4 of a gallon of boiling water down the drain. I think it’s fixed!! Yay!!! I really like doing the handyman type things that most people hate or call someone to do. I know April appreciates it and I know our wallets do too.

I think I’m not going to post about farts anymore.

The house is clean; dishes done, clothes folded, vacuumed, straightened stuff up, just the usual chores. I think we’re about to go grocery shopping!! We’re having pizza night twice this week, AWESOME!!!!!

I hope everyone that reads this, all two of you, had a very merry Christmas!!

  1. I’m so glad April won! You two probably had at least 1/3 of the entries! Also, e-readers are awesome. Excellent job on the gift giving, sir.

Lol, that’s just six books on the kindle. You forgot about the real ones.

Thank you again for the kitchen sink!!
